Labor and Lactation RN
Effective Date: September 26, 2025

Welcome to Labor and Lactation RN, where professional, compassionate perinatal and lactation support is provided by Brooke Wade BSN, RN, IBCLC. By scheduling or participating in a consultation, class, or session, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Services Provided

Labor and Lactation RN offers personalized, evidence-based support, including:

  • Pregnancy and labor education

  • Prenatal breastfeeding preparation

  • Postpartum lactation consultations

  • Latch and positioning support

  • Pumping and milk storage guidance

  • Milk supply evaluation and management

  • Bottle feeding and supplementation strategies

  • Weaning support

  • Virtual (tele-health) and in-home services

Sessions may be one-on-one or in small groups for classes.

Client Eligibility

Services are for individuals who are pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding. Clients must be 18+ or have a parent/legal guardian present.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Share accurate and complete medical history

  • Communicate changes in health or feeding status

  • Participate fully in consultations or classes

  • Follow up with their healthcare provider when needed

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is a priority. Labor and Lactation RN complies with HIPAA and all relevant privacy laws. Your information will never be shared without your consent, unless required by law.

Payment & Insurance

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless arranged otherwise

  • Insurance can be billed through The Lactation Network.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours in advance

  • Late cancellations may incur a $100 fee

  • No-shows are charged the full session rate

Limitation of Liability

Labor and Lactation RN and Brooke Wade, BSN, RN, IBCLC, RNC-OB, C-EFM, are not liable for outcomes related to advice or education provided. Recommendations are based on professional assessment but cannot guarantee specific results.

Telehealth Consent

By participating in a virtual consultation, you agree to:

  • Use a secure, private space for your session

  • Understand the limitations of virtual care

  • Ensure a stable internet connection and functioning device

Modifications

These Terms may be updated periodically. You’ll be notified of any significant changes via email or on our website.
